Nigeria Trans-border Security Committee says it has identified terrorists’ hideout and routes in the Nigeria’s border communities with Cameroon.
In its report submitted to the gn Affairs, Dr. Nurudeen Mohammed on Thursday in Abuja, the committee listed maritime areas, mountains, roads, rivers, waterways and streams as safe havens and routes for criminal activities.
Nigeria and Cameroon signed agreement on the establishment of trans-border security committee on February 28, 2012 in the bid to combat increasing criminal activities in their common borders and to encourage peaceful coexistence.
