Impunity: Highway Girls Arrested Within Abuja Vicinity For Prostitution

ladies where alleged to be prostitutes arrested within Abuja vicinity for prostitution it is one of the FCT 
Administrations efforts put in place to ride the capital city of easy women and discourage immoral way of our youths using their body to make money all of these efforts are welcomed and that the law was allowed to take its course is most welcomed. But the point of divergence with these actions or measures is solely on the actions taken by the taskforce team who are in charge of this tasks their has been reports of high handedness 
and abuse of rights of citizens by the taskforce which needs to be looked into by the authority. There has 
been cases of person going home late who were wrongly apprehended, and manhandled on the process as prostitutes. The case of the excesses and abuse of the fundamental human rights of persons by this taskforce can easily be confirmed by pictures of these ladies. Looking at these picture it is obviously certain that these ladies has been manhandled stripe to their underwear and the pictures of them taken before taken them to court before subsequently imprisonment of each if to six months each these act of dehumanization of the
females is a case of violence against women it is the act of restitution is immortality and should be discouraged but the punishment should be left to court to determine they should not be made to suffer more 

than the punishment their offences deserve before taking them to court for another round of punishment. If you ask these ladies 60% of them are not actually enjoying this degradation of themselves for the sake of money it is circumstances that pushed to them into this immortality for self upkeep even though not justified how ever the blame still lies squarely on government which has fallen shirt if its responsibility towards job creation therefore the using impunity to curb impunity is is arbitrariness if abuse of human rights of these our youths. And arrests, trial and subsequent imprisonment can never be a deterrent to these malaise even though the law took its course it is never a solution. It will be advisable that government should create skill acquisition center where these girls should be made to serve as a rehabilitation or Reformation home compulsively after which they will be empowered and released to practice what ever skill they may have acquired i think these is more of solving of the problem than subjection to lowest level of dehumanization imprisonment and releasing back to society worse than they way they were before
