Why I divorced my Husband — Ini Edo finally Reveals

Still on the matter; It is no more news that Nollywood diva and producer, Ini Edo’s marriage to her US-based husband, Philip Ehiagwina, has crashed. The marriage was said to have crashed a few weeks ago, but the couple decided to keep the news away from the public.

While the marriage lasted, there were reports that Ini Edo was not enjoying her marriage mainly because her husband did not reside in Nigeria.

The stress of going over to the US to check on her ex-husband was said to have contributed largely to the eventual break up the marriage suffered.

Ini Edo, in an interview sometime ago, managed to keep her marital problems away from the media and preying eyes, but apparently she could not continue to deny that things had gone bad with her marriage when news filtered into town that she had concluded plans to break up with his husband after marrying for five years.

I'm Very Lucky To Have Married My Wife 'Dele Momodu'

The Chief Executive Officer of a popular Nigerian photo magazine, Ovation International, Dele Momodu, has revealed the secret behind his marriage, which has lasted over two decades.  he revealed this in a recent interview with The Nation newspaper.

"I have been very fortunate to have been married to someone who has been a mother to five boys. All our children are boys; we have four of them and I am the fifth child of my wife! She has learnt to carry me as her fifth baby. no matter how old a man is, we always act like babies. So, I am lucky she has been able to understand me and know that you cannot throw your baby away," he said in the interview.

He said to be the man of the house, the husband should see himself as a baby to his wife.

"That is actually the spirit of marriage; husband and wife must live as if the husband is the baby, though you are supposed to be the head of the house, you are still her baby. Women know what we do not know as husbands.

13 Signs Your Relationship Is In Trouble

How To Fix A Relationship: 13 Signs Your Love Is In Trouble
A list of danger markers to help you assess whether your relationship is in trouble.
We humans long for stability in a world where everything is in flux. Despite our wishes, the only certainty in life is constant change. Nothing will be the exactly the same tomorrow as it is today.  Rivers erode one bank while causing accretion on another. Just when we think we've settled into a safe existence, we lose a job, someone gets sick, a child is born, a parent dies. Some change is rapid and perceptible like technological innovation or a summer storm. Other changes take eons like the creation of mountains or smoothing of jagged rock.

Relatioship Tip: Always Remember To Let Go Of Your Past (A Must Read)

Mark dated his girlfriend naomi for many years, but they later broke up, although it was his girlfriend naomi that left him, mark was heartbroken and later forgot about her. He later found love again with another girl called jenny and they later got married and had a beautiful daughter. Their love was so strong until one day....

Mark went to office that day and was busy with his normal office schedules. The receptionist came and knocked on the door and told him he had a visitor, mark wasn't expecting any visitor at that time so he was anxious to know who it will be, and there comes naomi, the girl who made him suffer so much, she was
dressed ina very seductive clothes which turned mark's head around, she greeted him with the most beautiful voice ever, mark's heart melted and he was in a trance as it was many years ago, mark nver knew her mission until she started begging him to forgive her what she did years ago, but mark told him that all those are in the past now, but before mark could understand what was going on she started kissing him and all

Do Nigerian Men Really Give their Women Oral S*x?

I am tempted to add a Parental Guidance here, but this blog is about life, love and sex for adult women 18+ so no shaking. However, if you are sensitive, you may stop reading now. The question came up as I was discussing the post  with a friend, and the fact that I, as well as a few of the people who commented, hailed #9 which says that the guy has to be "a firm, enthusiastic believer in cunnilingus."

The friend was a bit sceptical about that particular point, saying it sounded un-Nigerian like one or two other tips in the list. They were insistent that Nigerian men do not give oral or "head", at least not in her opinion from all the Nigerian men she had met, read or heard speak about it.

Of course, I have also come across some blogs and forums where Nigerian men deny ever giving oral but I am one person that believes that cunny is universal, as are many other acts in sex. Yes o, as much as some Nigerian women are very sexually fulfilled by their Nigerian men, I put it to you that Nigerian men do it. LOL...
Now some women can not even think about having oral done on them, not to talk of asking for it or receiving it when their man offers. But when a woman has had it before and enjoyed it, or is adventurous enough to try something new, then Nigerian man that you are if you're reading this, I think it is in your best interests to give it to her, or at least try.

For the women who are too shy to consider it, that is fine if their man is not interested. If he is, try to relax and experience it once before calling it quits. You may find that you enjoy it, a LOT, and for some men also, they like to know they gave you pleasure, men who believe in 'give and let give'.

The men that get on my nerves are men who will happily accept BJ and even demand it during each and every sex, and then when you ask them to return the favor, they're like ehn?! LOL...

So if you're a woman out there, Nigerian or otherwise, wondering about oral with that Nigerian man in your life, wonder no more. Make sure you're holding your end, then ask and you shall receive...

My Girlfriend Cheated On Me And I Love Her So Much, Should I Let Her Go?

A mail from a reader, he needs your advice.

Dear Esblog Readers.

I am madly in love now i met this beautiful girl over a year ago and we ended up going out. I fell in love with her.
We got to the point where we saw each other every day and basically did everything together. No girl had ever shown as much interest in me as she did. After going out for 5 months, I went out of town for 2 weeks. When I got back, a guy friend of hers, who used to date her years ago, told me he kissed her when I was out of town and that he was sorry about it.
I confronted my girlfriend about it and she told me that it was true, and that she was sorry. She said that it was wrong to even have had him over in the first place. I was hurt and I broke up with her. After a couple of weeks, I decided that I had overreacted and went back to her.

Things were great after we got back together, and we communicated more than ever. We had a great relationship for about 6 more months, when one night we had a really long talk. She confessed that she had had sex with a guy (someone different from the one she kissed) about 2 months after we started going out. She said she didn't feel emotionally close to me yet at that time, and felt that I was just going to break up with her soon anyway because that's what every other guy has done to her. She also said that she didn't really like this other guy either.

She said that having sex with him was her way of hurting me before I had a chance to hurt her. She said that after a while, when she saw I wasn't like the other guys, she felt bad about what she had done, but didn't want to lose me by telling me. She said she was telling me now because she has changed and felt she needed to be completely honest and open with me.

Despite what she said, I couldn't get over the fact that she had cheated on me twice. I broke up with her a few days later, and now we have been broken up for about a month. She calls me all the time, telling me to come back, saying she has truly changed and has integrity now. I have also noticed that she doesn't lie to her friends like she used to. I love her and want to go back to her, i understand thats its what men has done to her, but I don't want to be deceived again. Should I trust her and go back to her, or should I move on?

Revenge pornography

’Sola Fagorusi
It’s 11am on a Monday morning. You forgot your phone in one of the crevices of your bag. You had earlier left it on silence mode to ensure you do not disrupt the meeting that morning. When finally you remember you have one and may possibly have missed a number of calls, you lazily deep your hand in the bag.
After about three changes in hand positions, you eventually find it. It’s one of the newest brands in the market. You absent-mindedly draw the pattern that unlocks the phone. You get a ‘sorry, try again’ message.
You carefully draw the right one. Right there on your screen is a carefully lettered  – 56 missed calls. You are genuinely surprised. You notice another 22 text messages. You start by checking the messages and everyone of them seem to be hinting at something online you should react to or should have seen.
Five minutes after checking your messages and timeline on Facebook, you find it all there  – different pictures and a three-minute video of you in nude form.
You remember the pictures; they were the ones your ex-boyfriend took of you some years ago. You recall making the video yourself. You quickly squeeze the buttons of your phone and type the uniform resource locator of one of the leading entertainment blogs in the country in the address bar and you find the news there.
You check the comment section and there are already 1,004 comments at that time of the day. Your eyes are wet and you know life would never be the same again for you.
Revenge pornography, also called e-venge pornography, is fast trending as one of the quickest ways of getting a good pound of the flesh from a wronged lover. It entails online circulation of sexually explicit materials – videos, pictures or text – of a clearly mentioned or pictured individual with humiliation of the person as the goal of the distributor.
With revenge pornography, the culprit is usually a wronged lover or a hacker. The later happens in rare instances.
Unlike other anonymous pornographic materials online, revenge pornography makes the face of the act clear and ensures the name is also known. In some extremely harsh instances, the mobile contact, work details and home address of the pictured person are made available.
It first became more pronounced about three years ago.  As is usually the case, the pictures or videos are captured by the victims themselves or by the assailant with the consent of the victim when there was a warm relationship between both.
Since revenge pornography always has women as victims most times, it can also be right to describe it as sexual violence against women with the sole aim to embarrass, humiliate and degrade a woman sexually, if she is  career driven, she may be disgraced professionally.
The international legal firmament is already witnessing various fireworks to address the weak presence or outright absence of legislation around this. Some of the anti-revenge porn legislations are hoping in addition to criminalising revenge porn also target service providers whenever the actions of their users are misguided.
About two years ago, circumstance would bring a lady across my path. She was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. She craved my intervention since I had faint knowledge of her may-soon-be assailant.
She had been in a relationship with him for years and they had seen it all including a number of abortions. When things circumstantially went sour between both of them, he threatened to make public her nude pictures in his possession.
He threatened to do so offline and online. The pictures were her gift to him on his birthday in one of the years they were together. They were taken privately while the romance lasted. Together with her, we went back and forth on possible solutions and remedies. I was to later introduce her to a social worker who had competence in such genre of sexual abuse.
She threw her expertise at the issue and in weeks, it was laid to rest. At least till this moment.            The internet would continue to grow. More smart phones would be added by the day making access to the internet instant and easy.
People would continue to fall in love. Humans would also continue to fall out of love and have heart breaks. Certainly, break ups can be bitter and painful. The memories shared together are what could become the tool in the case of retribution pornography.
And it has ruinous implications for the life of the victim. Asides the misdemeanour of the perpetrator, phones or digital storage devices with possible revenge pornography content may be misplaced ending up in the wrong hands.
Once it is online, you can never take it back. In the Web 2.0 age, it is clear that it is the law that has to continue trying to catch up with the loads of daily inventions in cyber space.
With revenge pornography, the pictures may also be published for the purpose of blackmail by jilted men. Since most victims never bother to seek redress through legal means especially, it may continue to be perceived as an issue not worthy of major attention.
Young people who engage in the act are also vulnerable. Sexting refers to the act of sending lewd images and words through text messages. With the internet, we all need to understand that once anything is sent, the chances of losing control over what happens to that content is huge.
With non-consensual pornography which intentionally inflicts emotional distress becoming a growing burden, it is up to people to protect themselves in addition to only engaging in relationships built on trust and a sizeable amount of caution.
Our offline well-being is now intricately linked to the lives we lead when we access the internet. The rule is simple – never send anything to anyone that may be used against you and never allow anyone take pictures or videos of you in private acts or intimate moments.

A Must Read :3 Surprising Behaviors That Can Harm A Happy Marriage

Sure, togetherness is important. But is there such a thing as being too close?"I promise to love honor and obey until death do us part."
I said those vows but no one told me it would be like this. Did getting married and saying those vows really mean spending every moment together? I mean, we enjoy spending time together but I am starting to question whether or not there is such a thing as being too close. Could we
unintentionally be causing strain on our marriage by too much togetherness?
As lifes circumstances have changed, so has marriage. You will have many competing interests for your time, resulting in you and your partner spending every "free" moment with each other — talking, playing, having sex, and just being with one another. You might be telling each other everything, bringing not only the office but the office gossip home too. You are not doing it on purpose; it just happens. If this sounds familiar, it may be time to take a look at what you are bringing into the marriage and whether or not it's productive for you and your partner. Here are three things or topics to consider leaving out of your marriage and together time.
1. Work
Many companies have started operating in a "do more with less" environment. (Do more with less but not with the increased pay, I might add). You might find yourself spending more time at work, possibly traveling, and becoming closer to people at work. As soon as you get home everyday, you share with your spouse all the ends and outs of your day at work. This includes who got a bad performance appraisal, who has a crush on who, who has problems at home, and it keeps going. Yes, you want to share everything with your spouse, but should you?
I remember a story that I was told many years ago about a man who had a stressful job but a very happy marriage that had lasted many years. Each night when he came home, he would rub a rock that he placed outside the door of his home. He explained that rubbing the rock was the reminder to leave all his work problems and issues at home and to be a husband and father when he walked in the door. So, stop and think how much time you spend venting and raving about what is happening at work. Your spouse may not have a clue about who or what you are really talking about and really may not want to hear the same stories everyday. In an effort to avoid this rut, try coming home a few times a week, rubbing the rock at your door, and just be in the moment.
2. Compromising Too Much
There are times when we should experience new things with our spouse. But what happens if you're just not jazzed about your spouse's favorite activities? A great example is video games: gaming is a hot industry, and it's not just for children. Adults of both sexes and all ages are into escaping through games.
Your spouse may love playing games, but you will never be at the same skill level and you only get frustrated when you play. In fact, your stomach cringes every time you are asked. How do you feel when you are playing? After you play? Resentful? Angry? The quality time you thought you were going to share just turned out to be only time spent; time you won't get back. The resentful and unhappy feelings you have when you continue to do something you really don't want to can build up over time and put distance between you and your spouse. Don't be afraid to let go and free your spouse to do something they enjoy without you. Which leads us to the next thing to consider...
3. No "Me" Time
You have spent so much time doing what makes your spouse happy, something got lost along the way. You! Do you remember the things you would take time out for that brought such a sense of peace and joy? Do you remember the things that you wish you still had time for? What would your marriage be like if you took the time to do something that brought you pure peace and joy each week? It could be as simple as reading a book, taking a yoga class, taking time to meditate, reading the bible or shooting a few golf balls on the range. You would begin to raise your anabolic energy level, which in turn would raise the anabolic energy in your marriage.
I leave you with a challenge: try to implement one thing that would take away the quantity of time you spend with your spouse and replace it with quality time with your spouse. You'll be sure to see a difference! And a final thought to females reading this post —  as my friend Lauren Solomon says, "don't treat your husband like your furry girlfriend!" I couldn't agree more.
