Jonathan’s campaign posters flood Ilorin

Jonathan

The campaign  posters of President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday flooded strategic locations at the Ilorin Central Muslim Praying Ground and some other locations in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Some of the posters were pasted on some walls along the New Yidi Road and some other places in the metropolis.
A group, “Foundation for Empowerment and Uniting Nigerian Youths,” claimed to be the sponsors of the posters.
The poster has Jonathan’s picture and the map of Nigeria and a young man.
Some of the inscriptions on the poster read, “Let the good work continue”; “In culture in architecture and for the future, you are the best;”  “Support Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for continuity;” and has done it. He is doing it. He has also promised to do more despite challenges.”
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kwara State, Alhaji Ishola Balogun-Fulani in Ilorin on Tuesday said that it was untrue that the party was factionalised in the state.
He said those claiming to be pro-Bamanga Tukur-led PDP and who had sued the party, some of its leader and the 15 chairmanship candidates of the party for the forthcoming local government election were faceless.
Balogun-Fulani said,  “We read in the papers that some aggrieved members of our party took us to court challenging the conduct of our local government election primary. To our surprise, up till now nobody has served us the court notice.
“As a party anything we do here is done in accordance with the constitution of the PDP and the primary was conducted in accordance with the constitution of our party. The national headquarters was informed about the primary and they sent people down here to witness it and thereafter they also sent in an appeal panel. When the panel members came they received no complaint from any member concerning our primary.
“The panel members had gone back with their report certifying that the conduct of the primary was peaceful and fair.”
