Senator Ahmed Yerima On Child Marriage: “Maturity Is Determined By A Girl’s Parents”

Senator Ahmed Yerima was interviewed on Channels TV yesterday to shed light on why he is in support of child marriage.
The embattled senator is astonished by the outrage of Nigerians towards his belief that even young girls are fit for marriage.According to him, a girl is ready for marriage
whenever her parents deem it fit.
He stood his ground even while being grilled by the show presenter and added the little titbit that his own teenage daughter is set to be married this year.
