Prof. Nwabueze, in a letter to the president dated October 2, 2013, explained that he would be abroad, “for medicals and may be away from Nigeria for some time.”
He suggested another elder statesman, Chief Solomon Asemota (SAN), as his replacement on the committee scheduled to inaugurated today.
Professor Ben Nwabueze (SAN), has excused himself from the National Conference Committee set up by President Goodluck Jonathan to formulate modalities for the convocation of a national dialogue.
