Sad news Taiwo Oshadipe one half of Gospel singing duo Oshadipe Twins has passed away. She died in the early hours of this morning in her sleep. Her death has come as a terrible shock to her identical twin, family, friends and fans!
Her identical twin reportedly told a journalist that Taiwo fell sick about three weeks ago, she was treated at a Lagos hospital and improving, everything seemed fine went she went to bed last night.
A close family source said,
She went to sleep last night in her usual bubbly self. This is unexplainable. We are still in shock
On October 1st at 11.23am , she wrote on her personal Facebook page, “Happy independence everyone!”, it would be her last social media posting.
The twin sisters got married in 2014 to identical twin brothers. Taiwo is survived by her husband and son.
The Oshadipe twins started singing very young, they were mentored by late Sonny Okosuns, and had a hit with Dide Olorun mi.
